Social Interaction

Many of our learners find social situations difficult because they struggle with social cues and etiquettes. In addition, they often find it difficult to understand how other people feel and lack comprehension that other people’s beliefs, interests and experiences are different to their own. They may also struggle to understand how the decisions they make can have a profound effect on others’ lives.

Communication

Being able to communicate effectively (vocally, written, ICT, non- verbal) is one of the most important skills for life as it allows learners to make themselves understood and to understand others thereby enabling them to function socially. Good communication skills are also prerequisites for learning and academic success.
